-0078 Well maybe I finally figured it out, I've tried a couple of times earlier in the day to post some pictures but with no luck file to large. I have several other photos I want to share, but most of them are saved on my work PC. However this one means a lot to me, it is a picture of me and my dad on a black powder hunt last season on public land which will have to go down in history as the grand slam in deer hunting for us. The short version is we had four ladder stands set up in very strategic areas and we did what we call stand hopping which is sit for a couple of hours and if it doesn't seem to be happening slip down, keep the wind in your face, and go to the next stand. Needless to say Dad took a nice heavy horned 8pt. out of his first stand, I shot a decent 8pt. out of my second stand and while on the way back to the first stand I slipped up on another nice 8pt trailing a doe, deer number three down. Then just as we were getting ready to leave feeling very satisfied my dad dropped deer number four from his second stand. WOW! what a day, and so you won't think we were just being greedy the rest of the story is ... that was the last day of our season in this area and the limit in Florida is two deer per day per person, we hadn't had much luck in the area throughout the year everything just fit together and the good Lord was looking down on us. If I never kill another deer that was worth it all.
