Snort,

We went to Sam's Club and bought batteries by the case. It was a little bit of an investment but we saved around $1.50 a case. That will really start adding up when the weather turns cold.

Dad called the other day and told me he had a droptine buck out in his garden --7-8-9 He's getting the camera out of the mothballs and getting some pics to drive me nuts till October. ;D Last year he had beautiful 8 point that he watched for the summer, I think it's the same buck but we'll have to wait and see. I think he tells them when we're coming down to hunt and all the big boys hide.

I laugh at him all the time, he built a house in the middle of god's country that's loaded with deer and turkey and he quit hunting. He gets more enjoyment out of watching wildlife then he does hunting them. Oh well what ever makes him happy in life is fine with me. Building the new house was a good thing, it got him out of the city and off the couch, he's back outside being active and getting plenty of exercise. We got him a couple of new digital trail cameras last year and he's having a ball.
