Yep. They finally allowed it up here.

With woods full of bears, cougars, people and the occasional grizzly it was about darn time too!

Yes here in Va. you can conceal carry while hunting,if you have a concealed carry permit. I conceal carry 7 days a week, hunting or not hunting. Thank you 2nd amendment.

You can open carry in ND, so you dont need a CWP to carry while hunting, but if your holster is under your coat, now its concealed, just like transporting in your vehicle, it must be in plain side, as like on the front seat, or dashboard, or its considered concealed if its in the passanger cabin, since I am not going to drive around advertising my pistols on the dashboard, i put in for my CWP

Here in KS, we can finally carry handguns when bowhunting.  There are enough 2-legged critters doing illegal things here, and with our CCW law, it just makes sense to allow it.  If the warden finds us, though, and our deer has a bullet hole in it... bad news for you!

Just found this on the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency Website.

"May persons possessing handgun carry permits possess their handguns while on WMAs, PHAs, or refuges open to hunter access?
Recent legislative   changes   provide that individuals who possess a carry permit may possess their handgun while on TWRA wildlife management areas, public hunting areas, or refuges open to hunter access. The handgun may not be used for taking game unless specifically permitted by TWRA regulation. This change will now allow those with carry permits to possess their handgun at times when previously it would not have been permissible such as during archery hunting. TWRA will apply this same interpretation to those possessing carry permits while hunting on private lands."

Not in Texas, But Im going to have to talk to the warden about that one.. Its just too dangerous with wild hogs, sows with babies, I have had encounters with loose pit bulls, yellow kurr dogs, and wild hog dogs that got loose 2 counties over.. In fact I cant remember too many times I didn't encounter one of these guys.. Im packing for my safety, and paying the fine.. Its better than the ER calling your wife with the bad news.. We have begged and begged for the State to do something about the problem, and nothing gets done.. There are neighborhoods that are getting ran over now.. One thing you wont catch me doing is shooting a illegal deer with a handgun during bow season.. So I don't worry about it. If you have never walked thru the dark woods at 5 in the morning and flush 25 hogs from 300 lbs and under its quiet a feeling.. your helpless. Im just not going to put myself in that position, as I have many times.. I will lay it at the bottom of my stand while hunting and in my 4 wheeler bag while traveling, but to and from stand UH UH

You are spot on Golee.  I've been tree'd multiple times.  It isn't a fun experience.  I also carry a side arm for my protection while bow hunting.
