We're not allowed to carry a firearm here in KS during archery season if we are hunting for deer.  Even having a CCW does not permit us to carry to protect ourselves if we are bowhunting.  We tried to get that changed this year, but the KDWP refuses to budge.

Roosclan - Kansas now allows this SB 152  Allowing lawfully-possessed concealed handguns and devices designed to suppress report of a firearm while hunting, fishing or furharvesting was approved by governor on March 31, 2011

Happy they did this.

Not allowed here in MO. Not suppose to have any firearm on your person while bowhunting.

You can starting this year if you have a CCW or are a LEO.  @--0--0123

With the new Indiana Lifetime Personal Protection Permitt you can carry a side arm any time during any season any way you like, concealed or unconcealed. I carry mine to the woods everytime and everywhere I am permitted. Funny I can go to bank and cash my check but I cant go to post office and buy a stamp.

Nope. Only allowed one weapon in the woods during the respective seasons. You can carry a bow during shotgun though (with valid archery tags of course)... as long you aren't carrying your shotgun.  ;)
