The moose is loose

Back many moons ago, I hunted on a club in Plantersville, Tx.  Bordering our property was an exotic ranch that had everyting from Llama to moose.  Well one year a moose got loose on our property.  We told the ranch about it several times and they made no effort that we knew of to remove it.  Once the season started, that moose was never seen again except for his tracks.  It amazes me that an animal that weighs as much as a ton can dissappear into the piney woods of east texas.

BTW, come January the tracks disappeared too, no one ever owned up to shooting it and it never made it back to the ranch.

 I wasn't there either. ;) I wonder what the game warden would say if he caught you shooting it? ??? I bet he'd rub his eyes first.
