CamoGirls Turkey Hunt
« on: May 11, 2009, 08:13:35 AM »
Well, CamoGirls Turkey season is over.  I'll let her tell the story(s) about the weekend but I'll say she was a trouper to get out there while having to deal with such a nasty cough (sinus draining...yuck).  I also want to thank our buddy Mack for taking the time to meet up with us and provide the excellent Turkey sounds and general turkey info!

I won't give the results but I had the best turkey hunt ever on Saturday!

Sounds like a great time.  Sorry to hear she was sick but that is cool she stuck it out.  Can't wait to read up about it all and see how it went.

I'll let a little of the story out.....  Mack forgot his Thermocell and I forgot my refill and it ran out....  And she still sat it out on Saturday (no popup that day)!

Na, I was mostly covered in camo but I do have a couple of itchy spots on my eye brows...   CamoGirl looks a little more spotted but we can just say she's got more pimples!    @--0--0105

...aren't I always in trouble with her? ...   She's got track tonight so she might not get a story posted until tomorrow night...  the anticipation builds!  I will say she sat still enough on Saturday (no popup day) that she was fasinated with the slug that crawled up her boot...

Forgot your ThermoCell? How could you do that after my forgetfullness, admitting to it and posting it? I wasn't trying to be tough, I just wanted to help you all remember your gear. Ha....

Technically I didn't forget it.... I forgot to bring a refill... and it didn't take long to realize the butane was out!
