Thanks for the Love everyone.  I know I've killed some nice ones here, but I've had to hunt really, really hard for them (literally everyday for 3 months of season each year) and it's not like I'm passing on 120s to wait for 140s.. here in the Mountains of VA, if you hunt the whole season, you'll usually have 1-2 chances at a 120 or better.  In fact, last year I didn't even see a buck over 100 inches!  Talk about frustrating.. now the rule of averages says I'll have 3 chances this coming year, but in alot of other places (IL, OH, IN, KY, etc) you'll have 8 or 10 chances at solid bucks each year..

If good deer are what you're looking for, I'd stay where you are, if you're looking for a computer job, I'd go to Austin, TX, they have lots of deer there and great money, if you what to get into nursing, anywhere is good. I vote for Austin.

Those are some nice deer, congratulations. Well if moving to have a better state to Hunt and see more Deer, nothing better then Texas. Big body Deer the places you mentioned are great, so is Illinois, Nebraska under rated, Wisconsin unreal bruisers there are a million options if Deer is the only consideration  @--0--0101
