I had to go to a Crossbow because I became disabled. They make many fine crossbows. I found out it is like everything else, you get what you pay for. Originally, I went thru a disabled organization and obtained a Barnett Bow. It was awfully heavy for me, very strong limbs, and was not what I really wanted. I looked around and saw the TenPoint. You can spend up to 2,000.00 for a package deal with them. I compromised and purchased a Parker Terminator with a Red Dot Scope. I am sure it is not rated the best, but it kills just as good. They all have good bows. In my best piece of advice, get the best one you can afford. Don't forget, they are difficult to cock. You'll need a string cocker, or at least consider one. The hand crank cockers are rather slow, noisy, and rather tough to use in a tree stand. Investigate a lot, spend a moderate amount, practice a lot, and enjoy!
