Sunrize Acres - Jackson Michigan
« on: March 19, 2009, 10:34:58 AM »
Recently hunted Sunrize acres for Russian and Austrian wild boars and posted some pictures in Trophy Photos.  I had a great time meeting like minded folks and the atmosphere of the hunt.  Anyone else ever been there?

Prices are fair....

$100.00 deposit

$475.00 before hunt for hog or goats/sheep

10% tip to guide - well deserved

$60.00 for guide to skin and quarter animal and more if you want guide to take to taxidermist or to processor and ship to you UPS....

I let guide skin and quarter and took 3 big coolers to bring meat back to process locally and did not do taxidermy on the beast - but I did mount it.. @--0--0116 LOL...

Check out this Barbarosa ram hanging at the buck pole, the hogs decided to visit and clean up any scraps.....

The guide eluded to the fact this gold medal ram would have cost up to $2,000 in Texas but was same price as hog in Michigan

Looks like the hog hunting is easy. @--0--0118 Was the cost for one animal or multiple?
