my 1st turkey call

this is a pic of my 1st turkey call, i made it when i was a Junior in highschool in shop class. i called in my 1st gobbler with it in 1991.

yes it was, the funny part was we had a contest to see who could make the best turkey call, and i did not when, but i was the only one who really called a turkey in with one. i just quit using it 2 years ago.

yes it was, the funny part was we had a contest to see who could make the best turkey call, and i did not when, but i was the only one who really called a turkey in with one. i just quit using it 2 years ago.

a lot of times the "winners" of those competitions don't even sound like a turkey - just sounds good to the ears

i would have no idea where to start to make somthing like that and then use it!!!!

Nice looking box call, They never get use to the practice in the house. Keep at it and good luck in the spring.
