My family.
« on: January 31, 2009, 07:29:59 AM »
Well, it took nearly three years but, I finallly got my kids, mainly my girls, to take the time one afternoon to get a family picture.  Brittany (in green) is nearly 19 and attends Illinois State University where she is working toward a degree in early childhood education.  Brandy (in blue) is 17 and a Junior at our local high school.  She plays volleyball and works in a little pizza place in town.  Jed...Jed is soon to be 8 and in first grade.  Jed is a typical boy, active rowdy and full of excessive energy.  He loves all things Indiana Jones and got his first turkey permit for this coming spring.  I bought another butt stock from Brownell's for his single shot 20ga and we will be cutting it down to his size for the spring hunt!

I took my girls hunting with me when they were small, mainly squirrel hunting.  Neither of them ever really got hooked on hunting though.  They tended to follow their mother's path of the shopping, social event type.  Fishing on the other hand...I took both of my girls, indivdually and together fishing in Canada and locally during the summers.  My oldest, Brittany showed some interest in going to Canada with me next summer, we'll see!
