Range Results for 7-15-20 - Part 2 of 2
« on: July 16, 2020, 06:42:53 PM »
It was basically the Bergara Rifles versus the Christensen Arms Rifles.....which on was better? The answer is the shooter!! Both rifles are great, the Bergara is the better price point....the 6.5 Creedmoor in the Bergara did OK, the 6.5 PRC Christensen Arms did OK as well....the Bergara B14 HMR SP did the worst of the shooters, but this could have been me...not sure...will try again next week or whenever the heat breaks....

More work required and this was not a good day to shoot, just too hot to shoot.....

Yari - I'm reading and re-reading an Article in Shooting Times that states that reloading for accuracy begins with the rifle....before you can shoot good you got to have good equipment...I agree whole heartily....and you are right in your statement, that most guns (rifles in this case) are more accurate that we can shoot...this is so true....

Forgot to post the final target it was a Christensen Arms Ridgeline in the 6.5 PRC with the Leupold VX5 HD 3-15X x 44mm (nice scope) and am shooting factory ammo up in it until I get enough brass to start reloading my own.....but these are the Hornady 147 Gn ELD bullets.....I have about 7 more to shoot in it before I sit down and start developing a load for it.....

But yes I have said the same thing for years as well....
