Deerhead - Thanks, knew they kicked Remington production out of NY State, but does this include their custom shop? I know their home office now is in North Carolina and some of their production facilities is located near the Huntsville Airport...

I think you may start thinking about a Model 7 and put a Stockys or Boyds Stock on it?? will look just as good as the Model 700 BDL in the classic caliber a 30-06!!!

Yari - I agree with you 1000% they along with other Democrats has gone off the deep end....with their denials of nothing happening in Portland and Seattle, just to name two of the many cities that are experiencing riots, looting and fire and fire bombs....

And Chicago and St Louis and Atlanta and Minneapolis and . . . .

Really sad to see how quickly things are eroding.  Can't help but think about Revelations on a daily basis . . . gotta trust that God has a master plan that is good for us in the end.

Mad - I was telling the wife that I think that they all are these young college graduates that have a degree is something and cannot find the corner office job of their dreams!! what do you think...this is where our college system has failed them all....well most of them anyway....have a plumber in the other day that has a Architecture Degree from University of Tennessee...and he said he is always looking but as time goes on, it looking like he will be a plumber from here on out....but he is a good plumber for sure

There is a direct correlation between the job and the money that the gov is paying them not to work....that is too bad for that one aspect of the personnel protection plan where they are paying them $600 per week plus unemployment my good here in TN you could bring home an estimated figure of $837 per week....I can see half of that but 837 per week, gives the younger folks time to loot and riot.....Its not about George Floyd anymore....

Now back to the effort of getting Deerhead a Classic Remington BDL (Wooden) in 30-06.....I will get off my soapbox for now, but sign on and look in the General Politics for my latest rant...but for now, it is all about Deerhead....

Bo, I agree, they're removing the motivation to work.  There are other big problems though, deeply rooted and hard to correct.  The liberal indoctrination students receive in school these days starting at the earliest age, and schools establishing a mindset that every student should go to college.  Both are wrong, damaging to society as a whole and certainly not good for individual students who often waste time in college on a degree program which doesn't lead to gainful employment while the skilled trades are starving for new employees and offering good wages.

Mad I agree with you completely on this issue....Being originally from the Atlanta are and listening to Neil Brootz for years and years...and he kept say that the educational system was in shames....just where the demo-rats want it to be...

But back to Deerhead quest to find that Classic wooden Remington 700 BDL in the classic round of 30-06 caliber....

Well here is an education:

The Wall Street Journal reported on July 24th the Navajo Nation broke-off talks to buy Remington.

Educational for sure, It's amazing how the economy is manipulated by these large financial institutions, and the average people have no idea what is going on around them. I have always said "if something looks suspicious, follow the money" there is greed behind every deal, and the little guy or worker takes the brunt of the results.
