The Leapers UTG Bug Buster Rifle Scope is great for AR-style carbines or rimfire rifles. It features parallax adjustment that adjusts from 3 yards to infinity so you can dial in on extremely close targets. The Bug Buster also features finger adjustable windage and elevation adjustments and includes a sunshade and flip-open lens caps.

PJ- I was wondering about them, I have been seeing them on Cheaper Than Dirt website for years and years, and just wonder how good they are and how good their are made. I have an AIM scope (from the scope pile) that is compact and is a 2.5-10X 40mm and it has the green laser and the lighted crosshairs on it...looks like it is made for a 22 plinker...or could go on a AR style rifle??....looks nice but functional?? Maybe mounted on the 9mm high point ??

Please keep us informed if you have any troubles with it...thanks...Bo

As I read about PCP air rifles, that scope is one that's often used because of the ability to adjust the parallax effectively for relatively close range shooting.  Recoil on the PCP rifles is minimal - not like a spring piston air rifle that actually can be pretty hard on a normal rifle scope reticle.  The likely ranges for a PCP air rifle are pretty similar to that for a .22 LR so it should be a good choice.  An AR in 5.56 is still pretty mild, could probably get away with it but I wouldn't expect it to be great for long range precision shooting (just a guess).

Nice scope I have one on my pellet rifle only mine will light up the reticle green or red. They are bugbusters for sure. I can hit a chicken egg at 85 yards with .177 Gamo.

Between showers worked on the sighing in.  Got it within a couple of inches on paper with a good soild rest, just my shooting stick.  Then let the wife shoot a 10 round mag.  I like the green highlight better than the red.  We will see after I use it on some treerats.
