4th day after regular rifle season closed, I was on the lease 2 miles away with my muzzleloader, he's about 40 yards in front of my stand on our farm. :'( Look at that tarsal gland, he was still lookin' !

What's the rest of the story? I would have had a hatd time passing that buck, if it had been legal to shoot

Michigan Louie, had he been on the lease property, I would have taken a crack at him and if I had been at our farm when he walked out in the open I'd shot at him there too!  My reason for being on the lease was the short range of the shooting lanes, maybe 85 yards.  Made me feel a bit more comfortable since I hadn't really proved my M/L since a year ago. Regular shots from the stand in the food plot are over 100 yards  Bottom line is I was in the wrong place when he choose to go by a camera that was on a stump in the middle of the food plot.
