Common sense should tell you that if you didn't purchase the land you are on or if it's not state property, then you should not be on it as you don't own it. What part of that do these so called hunters not understand? It's also not his tree stand so why would he go up into it? I was raised different than these yahoos. When I was an office manager for a doctor's office and we had a refrigerator in the break room simply this, If you didn't buy it and bring it, then it's not yours so don't drink it or eat it. We don't supply the refrigerator with food and drinks so .... They got the message. Some people think the rules just don't apply to them and it's one of my pet peeves.

Yeah BC, common sense SHOULD lead people to make reasonable decisions, but it seems to be in very short supply these days, along with personal accountability.  We live in a country where entertainers and athletes are worshipped as if they're above God, and the examples many of those individuals are setting for the lemmings that follow them are pretty poor in terms of using/sharing common sense and personal accountability.
One of God's greatest gifts to us is
the great outdoors - get out there
and enjoy it!

Some kind of entitlement attitude perhaps. It's like a free-for-all. Whatever you want to do, wherever you want to do it, just go ahead and do it. Regulations mean nothing to some of these people. Calling yourself a hunter is more than just harvesting an animal. It comes with a responsibility to be lawful, ethical, courteous and accountable. It's frustrating but the most we can do is to be who we are, and be an example to others, especially new or older hunters, that hunting comes with responsibilities. While we can have a lot of fun in the woods, making memories with friends and families, you still need to do it the right way. I was just reading a hunting devotional the other night and one of the chapters was about decisions. While we all make them, especially in the woods on a hunt, we have to live with that decisions we make. Making right decisions helps us to sleep good that night!

I've had my old farm posted ever since I bought it.  I bought my second farm last year and just hadn't gotten around to posting it until this year someone drove into the farm with their jeep and did donuts in my turnip and oat plot on labor day weekend.  I have pics of them doing it, unfortunately the licence plate was blurry in the pic. Did find the exact same vehicle in the town across the river but no way to prove it was them.
tank of gas: $50
hunting licence: $190
ammo: $20
getting to spend time with family and hunting buddies: priceless
