Follow up on doe harvest!
« on: October 23, 2019, 01:38:29 PM »
Went to check my camera today and found a couple of interesting pictures! One is moments after impact of the doe. The two you see were there feeding but my doe is out of the picture running to the left. She dropped in 45 yards! The other picture is this old man trying to drag her. Don't be fooled by the blurry pictures as if I was moving quickly. I assure you I wasn't. I'm not as young as I once was and she felt like dragging a pile of bricks!

Well at least it appears you have some relatively flat and open ground for the drag.  I seem to always end up dragging uphill, through steep creekbanks, multiflora rose, etc.  Well done again BC!

What are the chances to get a shot like that on a trail cam? Pretty cool.

I agree, I would love to hunt on flat land vs. the hollows I always wind up dragging them UP!
