Busted opener
« on: September 15, 2019, 02:58:21 PM »
Future son-in-law had his 42nd birthday yesterday. Opening day! Further insult, permits did not arrive in the mail yet. Final insult was all the deer finally showed up back near my stand yesterday before we had to leave for his party @--0--0126

Hot and humid here,. Have actually gotten some nice rains here in last few weeks and everything is green again.  I'm guessing the skeeters are thick in the woods too unfortunately.  Hope to see a good cold front in the next couple weeks before our opener, I won't be going out in this weather for a bow hunt.

Supposed to cool down into the low to mid-50's the next couple of days. Might get out Thursday and Friday morning, then it warms up again. We opened on the 6th and it's been too hot! Haven't been out yet!
