I finally got a cam out at my dad's place. I also brought the chainsaw and clear the shooting lanes. hopefully, i'll get a second out tomorrow and some more brushing

I tried a horizonal vine this year. I've heard good things and this would be a natural spot, right next to the minerals. I think it was wenzel's that said to use rope, but later articles said vines work much better. i'll let you know how it works

anyone else got cams out? any shooters?

No cams out yet. I am afraid if I do I will jinx my house sale. But if it does nit sell soon , I may be hunting in my backyard again, which is good and bad at this point.

I hope this place sells, hard carrying insurance, utilities etc on two homes

Yari   whats the deal with the vines or the rope. I missed something.      Yea as far as the cams go I have 6 out. I have picts of three dandy bucks and have seen more in the general area. but hunting season is a ways off.

bucks are supposed to love to rub on vertical vines vs plain branches. they rub their glands on their faces. it acts as a sign post

google 'vertical vines for bucks'. there are videos to watch. one is a property consultant that swears by them
