I've been seeing woodchucks in a lot of places, but unfortunately, it has been in places I cannot shoot. Like driving down the road and seeing one feeding on the shoulder,  or in someone's yard, in town. The mulberries are ripening so hopefully that will draw them in.  I know it's drawing racoons in, seen their scat piles, so they're coming in at night.

BLUETOE if I could shoot these Harrison Ground Squirrels in the Missouri Headwaters State Park here in Montana. I could whip Louie this year for sure. Iíve counted 150 of them while having my morning coffee. But canít discharge firearms in the park. Like having handcuffs on!

Oh, a thread about a different version of varmints vs. what I deal with in NY Penn Station and surrounding areas!

I do have the groundhogs under my shed. So, I went to WalMart and stuck three bags if moth balls under the shed.

My tree stand is nearby and I have wacked a few when they pop out.  If my house does not sell soon I will be back in my stand in September waiting for the little bugger to show himself.
