2019 so far

5 birds down so far. Im tagged out, Bugfixer is tagged out and we need one more for MI-Bowhunter to tag out. Bug and I tagged out the first week of the 3 week season. We killed all 5 birds fanning with a turkey fan.

Congrats again on a great season, here's hoping Yari and I have less water to contend with next year or we may have to get a convoy to Kentucky started.

Its getting warm, not sure how much longer the beard is going to be around.

It was a tough week but we got it done on the last morning. The birds were hot the first week, then nothing for a week... The last day of MI_Bowhunter's trip they turned back on and we got this baby!

Was doing some research at the library over the weekend, and came across an old black and white photo of one of HMs ancestors.  This guy was a bit more refined however.  Notice that he keeps his hat in place and doesn't resort to the use of sticks like some crazy neanderthal might have done.  Just thought it was interesting enough to share some historical info to demonstrate how far we've evolved, or fallen as the case may be.
