Joker (A.K.A. Wallhanger) survived!
« on: January 21, 2019, 02:08:32 PM »
We went exploring on the back 40 into some woods we haven't really been on yet.  I could not believe my eyes, we found 20 rubs calf size and larger.  We also found a scrape the size of the bed of a truck.  I have never seen anything like it.  I put 4 cameras in about a 3 acre area and got 7 pictures of Joker.  I also got a few pics of one we named Sarg.  There were multiple pics of smaller bucks including some fighting.  I know where there will be a stand next year!!!

Dandy buck Ben - get out there & see if you can find those sheds in a few weeks before the squirrels gnaw them up.
One of God's greatest gifts to us is
the great outdoors - get out there

He knows where the sanctuary is.  That's a great looking buck and should only get better next year.  Give him some protein this spring.

Sweet!!! That has to have you really excited for next year!  I bet your trail cameras will get a work out between now and then.  Hope it all comes together for you.
There is nothing more beautiful than sitting in a treestand watching the world come alive.
A bad day of hunting is better than any day at work.
