i head out tomorrow. lows will be -20 to -30. that figures. it's been nice until now and turns nasty for my trip. i'll try to save a few for the TH trip in March ^^&&$%GT

Yeah Yari, we're counting on you to scout it out for us.  Not sure how much the patterns change from Jan to March but gather what you can in terms of the fishing & what we need to bring along for several days of deep wilderness survival in the Arctic.  And yeah, leave a few fish swimming for us to catch later please!

yikes was it tough. -29 and -31 in the mornings. fishing was tough. we caught 55. had a good fish meal and a 5 gallon pail to take home. many yucks and stories. smoked ribs, fish, duck chili, burgers, beacon wrapped tenderloin, bear beacon, deer breakfast sausage. go figure, my pants didn't fit today

let's hope the weather is better in March. it's always fun, but more fish is always better. cold snaps make fishing tough

-31 below and calm wasn't as bad as -8 and wind we had when we left. wind is a killer at those temps

Yari   last Saturday morning my thermometer in the truck showed -34 at daybreak. I drove around the block looking for Coyotes but they were not out running.
