Maryland Duck Hunt 2019
« on: January 07, 2019, 02:13:14 PM »
Well I have a blast this past weekend with some of my best friends. We had our last 3 days to deer hunt Fri, Sat and Sun. So we goose hunted in the field Fri morning got nothing no geese flying at all. Friday evening we hunted deer. I saw a small spike and a basket 6 pt and one buddy saw a 4 pt, none of us saw any Doe so no deer shot. Go home drink a few brews, eat and well have a 2 hour BS session my side still hurts from laughing. Sat out to the river blind for ducks. Perfect morning overcast no too cold and about 10 mph breeze to move the decoys. We shot 2 bull Canvasbacks 1 hen Can 4 dippers ( Buffleheads) and 2 geese and were out by 11:30am. Front came through and we all decided not to deer hunt that evening- too much wind and rain. So we ate deer back straps from the grill and had another BS session with family.
