I don't know if a day goes by that I don't think about a longbeard...

I like the way you guys think! Does this mean I am not the only one obsessed and absolutely crazy with the longbeards? I love deer hunting but nothing gets me more excited than working a gobbler. I can already feel the hair on the back of my neck starting to stand up!

Did somebody say turkey season!!!! where is it open yet?!!! I can't wait until April 15. We are going to Disney in March I am hoping my buddy can hook me up with a Osceola hunt but he may not have a spot open on his lease because his brother is hunting with on the first day. Fingers are crossed.

Thanks al. Another wrinkle in my plan. Full knee replacement April 3rd.
Then if we move later this year to Florida, traveling to NY in the future is out $$$$

Maybe I will find a place to hunt in Florida or Georgia that I can drive too.

The moment deer season ended I set my goals on turkey. We have been finishing the wild turkey I vac sealed last year..it's what's for dinner tonight and burgers we had a few  nights ago.
I did not spot too many big Toms last year in season but during the deer season last year I spotted 4 beard dragging Toms crossing our woods.
I do have more short raised platform blinds in the works. I walked into a blk. Bear while cutting trees last year. Close enough to see the flies on his snout. Then got more trail pics so it's got me thinking about ground hunting here now ##$%#1119

I'm excited as well. Have a new placed lined up. Friend has a homemade goobler. Says it works great. Going to use a bow. April can't get here soon enough.
