Christmas Wish List!
« on: November 19, 2018, 06:51:46 PM »
Well boys and girls, it getting closer and closer to Christmas and it is time for the annual Wish List....so what is on your list to get next year?? Have you been naughty or nice this year???

I will start it off, by saying that I might need another Browning X-Bolt in 280....how bought a Savage Model 110 in 260 Remington?? or how bought one of those hot selling 6.5 Creedmoor in a bolt action...or how bought a couple of Cooper Rifles in 280 and 260...both topped off with Leupold, Ziess or Vortex Scopes....I won't be picky....will let you guys what Santa did leave me this year...

But you guys out there don't shoot anything you might hear on the roof of your home!! Just this one night, turn your home security cameras and system off....do it for Santa....

I always have a Benelli on my list, it's my response to the kids always having "Pony" on their lists.  Aside from that I'm a pretty cheap date - need a replacement Full remchoke tube (lost mine somewhere), a new zippered gun case for the smokepole (blew the zipper out this weekend), some new lightweight camo gloves, and peace on earth.

Dang Yari, hopefully things will be looking up from here forward for y'all.  Hope Emily is doing well with her recovery.  Just put new tires on the Suburban two weeks ago & we're in the fridge shopping mode too . . . sounds similar.  When I got home Sunday night wife informed me that the son had spent a bunch of hours Sat evening in the ER after banging his head & then passing out.  All seems to be fine there now - and his insurance will pick up most of that one.  Life is just one steady stream of adventures (most of which put a drain on the wallet.)

I'll ask Santa to bring you a winning Powerball ticket!

Had the day off so got out & did some early Christmas/birthday shopping for me.  Got a great Kreg pocket hole jig, Freud biscuit jointer, and a Delta mortising attachment from a guy in town who's getting ready to move to retirement place, then went over to Bass Pro & grabbed a swivel chair for the blind and a 2-pack of Cloak cameras and some targets.  Snapped some pictures of a couple small things the wife & kids can get for my stocking too!

Well I'm pretty good this year and don't really want or need anything new. That being said, I just picked up the Mrs. a 2019 Honda HR-V this morning. She very much deserved it, her 2010 CRV had 163,211 miles on it and was starting to require too much maintenance and garage service time. Her new HR-V started out this morning with 7 miles on it, and I haven't seen it or her all day yet.

BTW- I got her a set of WeatherTec floor mats for it.  @--0--0123 @--0--0123 Merry Christmas to Her.  @--0--0118

Got the wife a iPad Mini engraved with out new Florida address on back, in a gold case. Her current mini was the first version so time for an upgrade.

Also got her a Cuisnart toaster, 4 slice with self decend and ascent. She was complaing how our new cheapo toaster would not pop up and was over toasting stuff.

Just a thought, Bo, but Bud's gun shop has a Savage Axis for $179, after the rebate.  Chambered for. 308 W.
