You got to spend some time with the grandson, he got to see some deer. Sounds like good time to me.  Congrats

It's always good to get out with the youngsters, it's these times that they will remember the most. Glad you were able to get your grandson out into the woods for another learning experience.  @--0--0123

Flint, its a Barnett Game Crusher...it has a jackal back and brotherhood bows, they make it exclusively for Dick's when I bought it...I called Barnett cause I couldn't find the model on their web site at all and thats what they told me..and when I said is this a cheaper bow like some sell cheaper made stuff in Target or Walmart and they said No it is a very good bow for the price...I like it and it works great and when I first got it I used it the next day and kowing me I took a stumble and broke the quiver and they sent me a new one no charge even though I told them it was my fault.  Very good customer relations

also Flint I bought an crossbow stand from Bass Pro cause I found it difficult for me when aiming at a deer to hold the bow for an extended time due to my arthritis .... the crossbow stand works great in a ground blind

Nice CB, looks very compact.

I got the Parker BuckBuster150 when I got into CBs. Light, compact, farily easy to use until my knees and other parts made it a bit harder to load in my skinny one-man tree stand.

Very light CB compared to my next CB, Parker concorde.

Both CBs had the Parker Hot Dot 3x illuninated red / green reticles.

Advantage Concorde has is the Co2 load/unloading system. Much easier to unload CB vs. having to shoot a non Co2 CB. Offset is the weight. Fits well in my ladder stand.

Still to this day Cabelas sells it for $1,100 vs Parker on line for $600!!

I think Cabelas loaded up on the Parker Concorde thinking it would be a hot seller. At top price and weight, Cabelas and Parker misjudged the market but Parker said lets lower the price and still provide the warranty.

I use Parker Red Hot Bolts (they changed shaft dimaters over the years so be aware to get the newesr vesrion so the Red Hot lighted nocks fit the bolts easily, they dont on the prior bolts).

Top it off with Rage CrossbowX 2 blade expandables. Each 3-pack includes a free practice broadhead. Very handy!
