Starting to see a few scrapes and rubs.  Finally getting pictures of bucks I haven't seen all summer.  Mature bucks are hanging around does.  Have a few pictures of bucks with their mouths open as if they had been running.

tis the season. we have been +20 degrees colder than normal. i'm already seeing fawns alone.

No cameras out, but was able to watch a nice sized buck, with a very small 6pt rack, walk across my yard a couple days ago.  Looking forward d to the first 2 weeks in November.  That is normally when the peak of the rut takes place in this area and when the chances of seeing bucks during daytime increases.
Don't ask the Lord to guide your steps, unless you're willing to move your feet.
