ben- in WI i can shoot one buck w/ a gun and one w/ a bow. during gun season you are allowed to party hunt, so technically if you have a bunch of buddy's that can't score you can also shoot theirs. i never do that though unless they ask

you guys were pretty close. good eyes. my guess was optimistic like louis at 145". he taped out at 140 6/8"

mad- i didn't do a net, but you are right. there isn't much difference in each side, maybe 1-2". i tape all mine at gross since i don't enter them in P&Y anymore. the P&Y certs are nice, but what do you do w/ them

I still have 5 doe tags in my pocket. mostly I just want to be out in the woods. I've been out 2 times since this buck and the night of non-stop activity. I have not seen a single deer since my first stand.  @--0--0117 @--0--0117 both night were great weather wise. I can't figure it out. the cams are showing good daytime movement.

the good news is a new stud 8 pt showed up. I hope he stays around until gun season thankgiving week. time will tell

Congrats on a nice buck.On a side note I use those 6 ft plastic toboggans for dragging deer with or without my side by side.I also keep them in the bed of my truck for when I buy mulch, top soil, etc.Easy to load and slide right in and out.
