Was at our local Rural King the other day buying a couple heavy duty tarps (16' x 20') and found cans of bungy chords for my camper that go nailed again by trees limbs.....just happened to wonder next to the gun department and purchased another brick of the Remington 22 shorts....that makes 3 bricks in about 4 weeks...maybe a couple of more bricks and that will be about right amount of ammo to keep and maintained.....still need to dig out the old 22 shorts that have $0.50 cents on them!!

You can never get enough ammo!!

Yari - After you get through at the range, please do a review of the Browning Buckmark......it would help all of us if you did...thanks.....

By the way was out our Local Rural King yesterday morning, and was in the tire section buying a couple of new tires/rims for my ATV trailer and they just happen to be next to the gun department, shucks, darn and bought another brick of 22 shorts.....getting too much of it, makes the 4th brick I have purchased this year.....looked at tree stands and blinds while I was there....

bo- I picked up the browning tonight. it was a great night so I shot my bow instead. i'm planning to hunt tomorrow

I need to wipe the pistol down before I shoot it. they really oiled/greased it up

I need to look into a fiber optic front sight. maybe i'll paint it white or yellow. i'm not a fan of the black post

No wonder I can never find any shorts on the shelf - Bo has them all!   I use shorts to perforate possums on the deck - down to about a dozen left, probably need to grab another box.

Haven't bought that yet - think I'll make it a birthday present the next time Midway offers me a big birthday discount.  My .177 would probably do the job at close range and 1100 fps but I just never think to grab it, as the .22 is always closer at hand.  Will have to bring the Gamo up & give it a go.  Good thought.

I bought a Remington 552 back in 83. Semi auto holds more shorts than longs of course, not sure how many rounds difference between the two. Never got around to putting a scope on it. I think the newer Rem 522 may not be tube fed nor have the same capacity of rounds as my old Rem (?)
