Guys - Have enough 308's to go around, I think.... @--0--0105...only 20 of them, I think, let me go count them will be back in a minute.......yep! 20 of them. If I can find a good deal on another 308 I would get it....but am in the market for another 260, another 6.5 CM. Would like to get a 6mm Remington Varmint, think the 6mm has it all over the 243's....always in the market for any 270 Win or 280 Rem, but one you shoot a Cooper Rifle (or better) it is hard to go back.....hummm...yes Yari and Mad this old man is still on a "Fixed Income"....LOL....my tiny house doesn't have room for another person, maybe a few more rifles.... @--0--0105

Game Trail Camera's - Will have plenty of Browning's to put out this year, the one I just ordered from Cabela's will be in late on Tuesday...starting in last weekend in August will put them on a few trees and put out some mineral licks and rocks....will bring the old laptop down for the first hunt and check them out just to see what is happening in the area.....

The Browning Game Trail Camera came in on Tuesday (8-7)and put some fresh AA batteries in it, put a 4G SD card in it got it set up just like the others and now it is ready to head South with me for Work Weekend at the club. Like it so much that I promptly purchased another one, (#8 Browning) will be here tomorrow....yippie....pretty soon will have the same amount of BTC (Browning Trail Cameras) as 308's.....LOL....just kidding....enough is enough....

Have started a file with the serial numbers, model, number and size batteries it takes....etc.....they are the same, but different if you know what I mean....

Problems with them is that on Bose Camera #1, they are two tabs to keep it closed and water tight, one of them broke off last year, did not seem to affect the camera operation as it is water proof, etc.......on Bose Camera #6 the Battery tray release button seems to be broke, will have to do something to try and get the battery compartment open....any suggestion?......one, #3 seems to eat batteries...have to put fresh ones in every year.....other than that have no problems with the Browning Trail Cameras....all uses AA batteries and all take the standard SD cards.....

Have two other Cuddieback's Capture Model 1125 that have been taken out of service. They use 4 D size batteries each...may put them up as a decoy to see who is stealing the other cameras....LOL....Originally had three Cuddieback's but one got stolen....

the only issue i had w/ the battery compartment was it would open. it was just the opposite of you issue. look at a working cam and figure out how the release works. i'm sure you can figure it out.

i go through 2 sets of batteries per year per cam. the cold up here really beats them up

i told a buddy about the sale. he bought a dozen for his new place. he is a go big type of a guy @--0--0105

Thanks.....

PJ - Yari - If I owned my own hunting land in Georgia maybe I would have them out all year long and of course own about 2 dozen trail cameras and know what I know now, would have gone with the Browning's  for sure.....

Supposedly #8 Browning will be here today according to the package tracking....I think that is enough for where I hunt...

PJ - Thanks for the subject move, not sure at the time which category it should go under.....

Need to focus on getting my ATV fixed for the upcoming season.....
