2 More Little Chuckies (Varmint Challenge Entry #2)

This is more fun than fishin' with Gut!  @--0--0102

Decided to take a bigger hammer out first this morning. Set up 150 yards from den. Laid down on the Browning 22-250 Varmint Special, 29" barrel, 40gr Varmint Grenades, 4150fps. Did the field of view pan and saw the little guy on the left. Zeroed in on him and when he got up to take a look around he went to sleep. Sorry about the mess in the pic but the grenade did it's thing.

While everything was settling down I moved to 50 yards and set up again. Using the old Remington 12A 22lr Pump I set this up with peep sites and love it. Nice light little plinker.  I patiently waited for some action. It took about 30 minutes for victim #2 on the right. Not nearly as devastating or messy.

As I was basking in my own glory...  ;D I did some glassing around the area. Much to my shock and amazement I had a Chucky Village established behind the barn and old cow yard. I counted 5 different Chucky houses scattered about 100 yards apart. Looks like it may be a fun summer.

To be fair in this contest I'm not going to enter any of the P-dogs I'm hoping to get over the 4th of July "Bang Fest" in Wyoming. I'll take as many pics as required and post them on the "Other Hunting" board. Hopefully I'll be able to take some pics of antelope stacked up like cord wood. Really looking forward to this trip. In the mean time there's a new marshal in Chucky Town!

"Dutch in the lead by a mile..." waiting until late June to bushhog (too many fawns and nests right now) before I can really get in on the action.  Nice shooting Paul.

Nothing could be more fun than shooting fish in a barrel with yours truly and eating knuckles while you wait. Good shooting Dutch, keep after them  (*&^&%#      ##$%#1115

Good job, Paul.  Hey, it is ok if you get more varmints than me.  Everyone deserves their 15 minutes of fame.
