A pair of Little Chuckers... (Varmint Challenge Entry)
« on: June 04, 2018, 07:48:40 PM »
Taking a permanent nap. Used my Colt Cadet 22lr target pistol. I use CCI Stinger 32gr HP Copper-Plated ammo. It's the only ammo I can use because of the heavy carriage, but it works.  ;D The range was 25 yards from the den and I was sitting down wind. I waited until the second one was out of the den by 4 feet. Popped it then as the first one was heading back to the den it met the same fate. There was four in this litter I got mommy on the 27th of last month. Hopefully I can invite daddy and the two other litter mates to the sleep over.

The camera I'm using is a Kodak PixPro AZ401. A simple little point and shoot that replaced my old one that died last year. The printer ran out of black ink sorry for the light colored logo on the plackard.

Nice job, Paul!  First year we lived in this place, there was a woodchuck running around, and at the time I had no intentions of shooting it.  We called it Mr. Chuckie.  Next spring we found out we were mistaken and the name quickly changed to Charlene.  She came out with 5 new babies.  that was way too many, so they went away, one by one.

Good shooting Dutch, I have exterminated the herd that was around my camp. Haven't seen one since last summer and now the rabbits have moved in.  @--0--0118

Do I get extra credit for two rabbits in the garden tonight.  @--0--0131 Think I need to make the nap room a bit bigger.

I missed dady chucker today.  ##$%#15

I like my rabbit deep fried or with biscuits and gravy so the score keeper may or may not be influenced in this extra credit thingy!!!LOL
