2 firsts today
« on: May 27, 2018, 04:56:25 PM »
my wife, the netting queen, and I hit the st Croix today. it was warm, but I got my first limit of walleyes for the year. 15-17"- perfect eaters IMO.

yesterday I kept 3, let a 21" spawner go and 3 more shorties. yesterday made today easy. walleye tacos last night ##$%#111 ##$%#111

as I was walking up to get my truck a doe popped out. she looked as it she was afraid of the trucks and trailer lining the road. after 2 minutes of discussing her issues, a fawn popped out from under a trailer. it was tiny. a day or 2 old. they made it to the other side and into the woods. mom talking the whole time. first fawn of the year. fawns are so cute, it melt my heart

Crappie, walleye, or bluegill - I'd eat any of them until someone dragged me away from the table - tough to beat!

dutch- emily wants to keep working at Pier 500 in Hudson. she really enjoys it there. she will be going to UWRF for business. it all works out since UWRF has a business certification making it one of the top 5%. they obviously didn't have that certification when I went there. @--0--0117 @--0--0117 win win for her
