Md turkey report
« on: April 24, 2018, 01:10:54 PM »
i hunted last week from Wed opening day until Sunday and it is rough!! I got into birds everyday but one. Theynever roosted in the same place any day one day on the propety next way off next almost there-- They gobbled on the roost and maybe 2-3 times on the ground and done!! On Friday I was moving here and there blind calling hunting until the noon bell and about 10:30 had a gobble right close so I called and he answered and moved on. @--0--0117 I will try again on Friday before I leave for PA turkey camp hope they cooperate.

Bluetoe-Same here on the western end of the state. Gobble once on the roost, maybe once on the ground and then nothing. We have no foliage yet in Garrett County so it's very hard to walk around and call and not be seen first. It's been a scarce opener so far!  Good luck!

Bluetoe - Good Luck in PA, I'm headed to camp on Thursday, not sure how long I'm staying? I guess the birds will determine that for me.  @--0--0105

I believe the last bird I killed up there was in the liquid sunshine. It's been awhile.
