I just find it odd that they waited as long as they did to make a statement.   The backlash started immediately and that is when they should have said something, or even before severing ties.  Waiting as long as they did really makes it look like damage control.

Yari I believe that is a scam on dicks part unless they have held these rifles since sandy hook when they removed them from the shelves around here and did not fill orders already paid for.

I agree with Yari - Dick's, Yeti are not the friends of Hunters or Sportsmans.....Now, Sportsman could be anybody that doesn't own a firearm? You seen the commercials on TV where they are happy camping with no sidearm in site...I side with the NRA and don't believe what I read on Yeti's website, that is a bunch of garbage....They quickly forgot about the people who help them make money and lots of it, sort of reminds you of our Politicians.....

Dick's and Yeti's are friends of Yuppies, like Metalman says.....what out for the Yuppies they are worst than Zombie's......

No more Yeti for me ever.  In our area, Field and Stream is owned by Dick's as well. They can try and backpedal, change their minds, or try and spin it away but my mind is made up!

I keep waiting for one of the many "Yeti-like" brands to take advantage of the opportunity - engage the NRA as a partner/sponsor and start marketing themselves to the gun owners who are fed up with the anti-NRA sentiment.  Artic, Orca, Ozark Trail, and others could do it if they're willing to lose a few snowflake customers.  Better still, offer a discount to NRA members.

One of them was donating money to the NRA for every one sold.  I do not recall which one it was.

Yeti makes a fine product but I opted to go with Rtic just based on price.

I wish companies would just stay neutral and sell their wares rather than making everything a pitical statement.
