they finally found my scope in a pile at the scopesmith. they said it normally takes 3-4 weeks to get it back. it's been +4 weeks ???

i asked if i could upgrade if it wasn't fixable, i got no answer. i asked this question 2 times now

if i get my scope back i will be happy. i'm not excited about the service though. no confirmation receipt. not able to find the scope for 1 1/2 weeks. no update. slow response time... it doesn't appear i'm working w/ a 'serious company'. it appears they are working out of a shoe box. it's not what i expected from Leupold at all @--0--0117

Yari - Don't know who you are talking with at Leupold Customer Service, but if you do not like that person and the way you are describing your conversation with I would ask for another Customer Service Rep or as to speak to a Supervisor.....I own 37 Leupold Riflescopes and on occasions, had to send a few back. I have no trouble with CS at all, they are one of the most friendliest CS out there.....JMO

bo- i'm just emailing. my issue is w/ the way they handle a return. even the smallest companies will send a receipt confirmation email. on the return form, they ask for an email address, so they have it. there is no excuse not to send a confirmation. it's just normal business today

calling is tougher for me during business hours. i normally handle this type stuff when i'm listening to a conference call. as you probably know, only 10-20% of conference calls are 'important' @--0--0105

my scope is on it's way home. i have no idea if it's a new scope or they fixed the old one. all the email did was give a tracking number. it should be here this week.

notsams- i posted a while ago. it must have been wiped out during the server change

i got it back 5-6 weeks after i sent it back. they replaced the windage and elevation knobs, reworked the magnification... i can't remember the whole list. i have it at my office. basically they replaced and reworked all the important parts. it's as good as new. no more rattling

overall it was good. no charge at all other than postage to get there. i wish they would have sent a confirmation email that they received it. other than that they did great

   Yea the confirmation email would be nice. I'm a big Leupold fan. They have treated me so good I almost feel like I owe them my loyalty. But they make great products and are made in the USA so whats not to like.
