Hunting Camp
« on: January 04, 2018, 06:26:16 PM »
For years, I have been going into my best friend family hunting camp. I've been there a few times for deer season but I mostly head into camp for the spring turkey. Well my buddies father Marvin, went on to setup another hunting camp :'( It was decided that the camp needed a little love so we had a work day (long weekend) this past summer. There's a video my brother put together of the camps makeover. I do believe she'll be set for another 15yrs ;D

Oh, I'll also add in a clip I took this past fall when I was down in camp bowhunting October whitetails. It just shows the inside of the camp a little better. Enjoy @--0--0137

Thanks for sharing, will echo others by saying that it looks a great deer camp...it takes a lot of time and money and effort to make a deer camp a great place. Like Split Toe says life is always good at Deer Camp.....

I know it takes plenty of time and money to make your deer camp a second home away from home and just like your home, there is always something to do at Deer Camp. Anything you love, it takes commitment to make it great
Thanks for sharing the video..

Thanks. It sure is a very special place and when you have a great group of friends (many I consider family) to share it with, it makes for some really great memories.

The people are what really makes it what it is - you could have a simple lean-to with a great group of folks and have the best camp you can imagine.
One of God's greatest gifts to us is
the great outdoors - get out there
and enjoy it!
