Deer Hunt 2017
« on: December 06, 2017, 02:44:48 PM »
Well like I said when I got the picture on the lap top I would be able to post it. Here it is, this is the only picture of the deer that me and soft plastic guru got so far this year. It was way to warm to let the deer hang around for photo ops, had to get them skinned out and cooled down and processed. I took the one small doe on the first morning, guru got one a little bigger later the same day then he got the second one Tuesday afternoon. That's when we fired up the butcher shop.

As I have stated many times before, it's not the kill that makes a great hunting trip to camp. This was the first time I got to hunt with my son since last year and we had a blast along with the others in camp. Our good friend BJ from Maryland cannot get around to hunt much anymore, but he came to camp for four days just to get away and be with the boys to reminisce and tell hunting stories from years past. Many had been heard before, and some have changed a bit (lies) but we all get it and had made some brand new memories. Good luck to all those still trying to fill tags.

Nice shooting Gutshot! Looks like a great camp with lots of memories and it doesn't get better than that! Family, friends and the outdoors is a theme for the Realtree company but it certainly is true! Congrats!
