No, that's not a gang sign I'm making it's a 1 and a 3 for number 13....Yep I have killed 13 hogs in about a months time.  Got these guys yesterday morning.  Long story short.....saw the sow in the field and grabbed the 7mm Mag.  Got within 150 yards and shot....miss.  As she hobbled off I saw 6 or so "piglets" run across the waterway toward her. I shot again...miss.  Third shot did the trick.  As I approached her I heard grunting and could see soybeans moving.  With my last bullet, I point the 7mm in the mass of movement and let it rip.  I then see soybeans moving everywhere, but I am out of ammo.  Like an angel sent from heaven, I see my wife in the golf cart waiting in the waterway.  I use some sort of air guitar sign language to tell her to bring the ol' 7.62x54R off the rack of the golf cart.  When I get this 1944 year gun in my hands it certainly means it is my last resort.  Suddenly, beans start moving toward me and a pig stops about 10 yards out.  I let the old Nagant get to work...another pig down.  More movement and I see another pig 10 yards out, the Nagant gets to work again.  So I proceed forward to survey the carnage and notice a few of the shots were not kill shots so once again the Nagant gets to work, but this time with the bayonet!  This is certainly a first for me, one person killing hogs on the same hunt with two different guns.  (Three with the 7mm and two with the 7.62x54R).  I included the guns in the pictures this time.  Well, gotta run I see more pigs in the field.....

Kingben, I'm just over the hill from you this week in Gatlinburg if you need some help reloading guns so you don't have to stop shooting!  With all of the rain in the forecast here I'm sure the family wouldn't mind if I sneak away for awhile.   @--0--0105

Congratulations on the hogs, don't let up!
