i use it for fishing more than hunting. it seems to work best when the moon set/sun set and moon rise/sun rise are about the same time

Life is busy enough on my end that I tend to hunt and fish when I can rather than when the lunar tables say I should, but with that said, a lot of times I look it up on my phone app when I'm going out, and would say there seems to be something to it.  While it's not going to be the only thing dictating deer movement, I would say it's not a bad indicator.  Weather patterns are a bigger player for me though. I use the Time2Hunt lite app.

Up until now I was like Mad, we will see how being retired works out...that said, so many years ago an old gentleman turned me on to the moon...I have followed it very closely over the years...even checking out the times other folks have shot deer...I basically go by moon positions...being overhead as the prime time and under foot as the second best times...it's worked for at least 50 years for me.....

I have a moon app on my phone and use it to hunt with. I know that on the full moon that I just soon sleep late and hunt mid day. I never see much on the morning hunts when we have a full moon.
