nasty headcold
« on: July 28, 2017, 07:10:02 PM »
last night i got hammered w/ a nasty head cold. i promised my wife to go boating w/ the golden today. i figured if i'm miserable, i might as well go instead of feeling bad at home. it was good. molly was insane on the retrieves. at 8 1/2, she wouldn't stop. it was a blast

tomorrow, we are fishing. i'm on the hook for dinner. it's been almost a month on the river so i need to figure it out fast. i saw tons of shad on the graph today. the walleye might be full. wish me luck. otherwise, we don't eat and yari may be eating PB&J @--0--0105

i'd rather be on the river than waiting for the crud to pass. we'll see how it goes. summer is too short to sit inside

Man I feel for you Yari - I had one a couple of weeks ago too that really kicked my backside.  Went home early from work, first time I've missed work for sickness in more years than I can remember.  Feel great now but still trying to get some of that crud out of my system, just lingers on.  Fishing cures lots of things though, I highly support your plans - hope the walleye are cooperating.

i've never seen so many bait balls on my graph. the fish were definitely full and didn't need my offerings. it didn't matter what depth i went, the screen was full of bait/minnows/shad

What's wrong with pb&j?  That's one of my favorite sandwiches.
