i got 2 more fields done this weekend. it was nasty humid w/ dewpoints in the 60-70's. i don't know how you southerners deal w/ it? i got the fields disced and fertilizer friday but ran out of daylight to plant. naturally it rain .4" friday night. nothing on saturday, but it was a lightning show all around me. just my luck

the field i planted 4 weeks ago was 5-6" tall. there was only 1.5" of rain since i planted. it's been dry up there. hopefully they get some this week

good luck to all planting. mother nature can be fickle
