Need some help with my Turkey mount
« on: July 06, 2017, 05:30:32 PM »
My Turkey mount is at at a taxidermist in Dublin, Georgia. It is paid for, just waiting to be picked up.

I may not be able to get there in the near term. It would be nice to have it back in my home sooner than later.

The UPS stores are pretty far from Dublin.

So, if I dont get back to Georgia for next  2018 Turkey season ( getting to GA for 2017 is out due to personal issues) does anyone live near Dublin, Ga?

My idea is if someone local would pick up my mount and take it to a UPS near them , UPS could call me and I would give them my credit card # and pay for packing and shipping.

So, if that sounds like somthing you can help me with, please PM me.

If not, I can call the taxidermist and tell him to hold onto it until, hopefully, I get down to Georgia and hunt with some of the members that have invited me.

The turkey is the best I ever got, you can see it in my profile picture. Worst come to worsy I can hope to ger there next spring. I can't ask the taxidermist as he is so far away from any UPS store. I find that odd since there is a major college in town.

So, I can wait and hope to get back or if not an inconvience  to anyone, they could pick it up and ship from a UPS store near them. He is miunting it on a big board so I expect it will be large and a bit heavy.

Thanks!
