Time for a change
« on: July 01, 2017, 04:26:29 PM »
Well with everthing I have going on I was looking at changes in my hunting style. I have a great Hoyt bow and a Parker Buckbuster crossbow. I needed something so I could still go out with a little less effort. So, today I went to my pro shop. Since I had a credit on my credit card because I had to cancel a cruise I used it to buy a Parker Concorde Crossbow with illuminated reticle.  My pro shop guy will get a case, sling, 4 arrows and change out my Buckbuster crossbow string  (free). He will order the new Crossbow Wednesday and call me when it is ready to be picked up. He also can refill the CO2 bottles. I just got this style crossbow so I can keep hunting. I wont be using the bow anymore. The Buckbuster will be my back up or give it to my son if he wants it. I will update you on how it works when i get it.

Flint,
Congrats on the new Crossbow. I started out with one myself for lack of time it takes to practice with  a compound. It was easier to manage my nerves when shooter deer would show up.
Good luck this season!
