Going back to my earlier post....I sprayed, but forgot to document it  ##$%#13.  Here is Sonya tilling a small plot and me sowing the new waterway plot.

That tiller really leaves a nice seedbed - gonna have to look for one of those (wouldn't hurt either if I could get my wife to run it for me).  How far is that waterway plot from cover?

Mad - The waterway plot is NOT in a good location.  It is about 50 yards from the nearest cover.  It had a bunch of "junk" growing in that area (goldenrod, briars, bullrush etc.) so I primarily just wanted to enhance that area with food.  I can't believe it took me so long to buy a tiller.  I absolutely love it!  Like you said, the seedbed is beautiful.  Just a little advice...if you get a reverse tine tiller you will need 4WD.  If you get a forward tine tiller, 2WD is just fine.
