Getting the plots ready!
« on: April 17, 2017, 05:32:39 PM »
We started ripping our one acre pond plot this past weekend.  Had to use the four wheel drive the whole time as the harrows were digging deep.  I would guess all 7 shanks were 10" deep for the most part. Gonna put on solucal (lime) and fertilizer this week, till it in, plant and cultipack by the end of the weekend.  I am planting nothing but chicory this year.  Drought is too prevalent around here to risk anything else.
