the long beard ammunition I see on fb one of our talkhunter had some problems with it
turkey season was a wet one now on to deer hunting in October

ok I have the 3 1/2 2oz #6 and have no problem with them  but am a little worried

My son and I both use it in 3" and I have one gun I use it in 3 1/2". two Semi autos and one is a pump. the Semi autos are Remington, V3 and 11-87, and the pump is a Mossberg 500. we have never had a problem yet.

I doubt you have anything to worry about if they pattern well from your gun.  Haven't heard of any FTF issues or related quality defects, would assume they're as reliable as any other good quality shell you buy.  I tried them a couple years ago, but my old reliable Hevi-shot patterned just a little better than the Longbeard (only went out to 45 yards) so that's what I'm sticking with for now.  Fully expect Longbeard will knock down plenty of turkeys this spring though.
