Me, bugfixer and the wives spent the afternoon and evening at the pond today. The wives brought in some bluegills and bug and I wore out the crappie. He caught two slabbers. probably 1  1/2 lbs each. Wasn't keeping them today so they went back in. Ill post some pics tomorrow
May dad measures crappie as to small, half a sandwich or a full sandwich. LOL

That's funny!  Most of what we caught was half sandwich with a few full sandwich and 2 Po Boys!

IPA and crappies. looks like a successful day.

if the weather permits and I get my turkeys figured out, I might sneak out for some crappies on the river this weekend. it would be nice to get out on soft water

Here is a pic of a bass I caught in the pond the other day....

Also, a pic of the cabin as its being built. The structure will be 30 X 30 and 16' from ground to the bottom of the truss's. The cabin part will be the back 20 X 30 with the front 10' being a 10 X 30 covered porch. The floor will be 8' off the ground because it tends to flood here...
