i believe you have the same soil as i do at the cabin. if so, it's very acidic. remember to lime liberally.
Definitelyy. I have not tried to plant  there yet but some others did very unseccessfullt for a few years before actually getting the soil sampled.

I appreciate the feedback. As soon as the roads are clear of snow and water I plan to head up and assess the area bases on what I have learned and go from there.

i think i'm trying this weekend. if nothing else, get the battery in the tractor and some chainsaw work. probably too muddy for much else
